Mrs. Frances D. Vitterite, age 95, of Cumming passed away July 25, 2013. She was born in East Orange, N.J., and was a graduate of Orange High School, Class of 1936.

She moved to Miami, Fla., in 1960, and was a secretary for Dade County Public Schools for 19 years. She retired to Alpharetta, where she was a parishioner at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of more than 60 years, Nicholas J. Vitterite Sr.; and her daughter, Rosemary Pittius.
She is survived by her son, Dr. Nicholas (wife Jill) Vitterite of Cumming; and sisters, Helen DeMeo of Eustis, Fla., Mildred DeMeo of Leesburg, Fla.
A memorial mass will be held in St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church Monday, July 29, 10:30 a.m. with Fr. Austin Fogarty, celebrant. Interment services will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery.
