Fran and her family lived in New Hampshire, Germany, Kansas, North Carolina, Ohio, Texas, and Taiwan before retiring to Alpharetta in January 2000. She enjoyed traveling, shopping cooking, decorating, and spending time with her family and friends. Following the death of her son Christopher on April 30, 1975, from Leukemia, Fran decided to become a nurse so that she could comfort others in need.
