Ginger Richardson Cash, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2015 at her home in Johns Creek.
Born Aug. 20, 1948, in Fordyce, Ark., Ginger was the third of Margaret and Bob D. Richardson's four daughters. The family later moved to Little Rock, Ark., where Ginger attended Mabelvale High School and was then a part of the first graduating class of McClellan High School. She was both an Honor student and member of the cheerleading team while attending.
Ginger then met the love of her life and married David H. Cash on March 26, 1966. The couple had three children who adored their mother as much as she did them. They moved from Little Rock to Roswell in 1984, where Ginger was most recently employed by State Farm. Ginger enjoyed her work and the family of friends she met while working there for over 15 years.
Ginger was the consummate Mother whose focus never strayed from the family she so deeply loved. The ever graceful host, Ginger was happiest when entertaining friends and family at gatherings in her home. Her amazing cooking pleased all but she was most renowned for selfless love and compassion towards others. Her joy was truly apparent when with her family, surrounded by the husband, son, daughter and grandchildren that loved her so. Ginger also had a passion for Italian culture and made the trip of a lifetime to Italy with her Husband in October 2007.
Ginger Cash is survived by her husband of almost 50 years, David Cash; son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Shannon Cash; daughter and son-in-law, Alyssa and Mackey Foster; grandchildren, Tanner Cash, Patterson Cash, Brayden Cash; her mother, Margaret Richardson Winters; her sisters and brothers-in-laws, Barbie and Luther Reed, Janis Johnson and Gary Sibley, Stephanie and Randy Peek; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Steve and Mary Cash.
Ginger is preceded in death by her son, Chad Richardson Cash; her father, Bob D. Richardson; and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Harry and Reba Cash.
