Mr. Grover "Joe" Bagby, age 84, of Cumming passed away Saturday, May 2, 2009. Mr. Bagby was a member of Haw Creek Baptist Church. He was an avid deer hunter and fisherman.
He was preceded in death by his wife, LeeClara Bagby; stepson, Jerry Bagby; grandson, Cain Campbell; a great-grandson; and seven brothers.
Survivors include his children, Lyn and Kathy Bagby of Cumming, Nancy Campbell of Cumming, Harold Bagby of Madison; sisters, Ruthell Hudgins of Dawsonville, Clara Hammons of Cumming; grandchildren, April Marter, Stephanie Bagby, Jeremy Campbell, Allison Copous, Tiffany Bagby, Dustin Campbell, Britney Campbell; six great-grandchildren; several other relatives also survive.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 5, at 2 p.m. at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Rex Byrd, the Rev. Richard Picklesimer and the Rev. Carlton Coker officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Monday, May 4, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, May 5, from 9 a.m until hour of service.
