Harold Howard Nicholas, 88, of Cumming passed away at his home on Oct. 28, 2008. A native of North Dakota, he was the son of the late Floyd and Sarah Nicholas.
Mr. Nicholas was a veteran of World War II where he served as a U.S. Navy CB. For most of his life, he was a farmer and also worked at an auto specialty plant for 32 years. Mr. Nicholas was a member of Piedmont United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Dorothy Nicholas of Cumming; daughter, Diana Lynn of Roswell; sons, Ronald Haney of Dahlonega, Jeffery Haney of Dawsonville; brother, Gordon Nicholas of South Haven, Mich.; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 3, at the Georgia National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at a reception following the service at Piedmont United Methodist Church.
