Hazel Tatum Mayes, age 85, of Cumming passed away Thursday, April 18, 2013. She was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church. Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Mayes.

She is survived by her children, John and (Teresa) Mayes of Atlanta, Melinda and (Ronnie) Padgett of Lilburn; grandchildren, Kirsten and Todd Nash, Amber Abrams, Nathan Padgett, Meredith and Robby Johnston, Dalton Mayes, Carolina Mayes; great-grandchildren, Wesley, Atticus, Alivia, Killian; sisters, Bobbie Pilcher of Mableton, Patsy McGhee of Cumming; sister-in-law, Brenda Mayes of Valdosta; and the care giving team at Sunrise at Webb Ginn.
Funeral services will be held Monday, April 22, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dennis Bottoms officiating. Interment will follow at Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, April 20, from 6-9 p.m., Sunday, April 21, from 2-6 p.m. and Monday, April 22, from noon to 2 p.m.
