Helen Wallace McCullough, 91, of Ball Ground passed away Thursday, Jan. 16, 2014, after an extended illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie R. McCullough; sons-in-law, Jay Kafka and George Cochran; great-grandson, Josh Wallace.
She is survived by her children, Judy Ayers of Marietta, Lanny and Janice Castleberry of Kennesaw, Sheri Cochran of Ball Ground, Mike and Reva Castleberry of Woodstock, Larry and Donna Sturdevant, Rebecca Kafka, Dawn Castleberry, all of Cumming, Kathy Henshaw of Gainesville, Eddie and Denise Ethridge of Dallas; 23 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; number of nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 22, at noon in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home, with Pastor Danny Parks and Helen's great-grandson Zachary Ayers officiating. Interment will follow at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton. Visiting hours will be Tuesday, Jan. 21, from 5-9 p.m. and Wednesday, Jan. 22, from 9 a.m. up until time of service.
