Henry "Hank" Asa Chase passed away July 15, 2010, of Alzheimer's disease. Henry's career was devoted to his craft as a sheet metal fabricator and a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Local #16. He was born in Oregon and lived there until he relocated to Georgia in 1982. He retired from Sterling Engineering and Fabrication in 2004.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Chase of Alpharetta; sister, Connie Cox of Northridge, Calif.; brother, Tom Chase of Eugene, Ore.; three daughters, Sherry Lantz, Cindy Reynolds and Rhonda Foy, also of Eugene, Ore.; son, Verne Chase of Dawsonville. He was blessed with nine grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.
A memorial service will be held Monday, July 26, at 11 a.m. at Orange United Methodist Church in Canton.
Southeast Funeral Service, Inc. in College Park is in charge of arrangements.
