Inez Grindle Cain, age 90, a lifelong resident of Forsyth County passed away Thursday, April 26, 2012. She was the daughter of the late Charles Columbus and Lilly Jones Grindle. Inez was a lifelong member and the oldest living member of Harmony Grove Baptist Church in Cumming. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Frank Cain; son, Michael Bernard Cain; parents, Charles and Lilly Grindle; six brothers; and four sisters.
Inez is survived by her sons, Roger (Carol) Cain of Cumming, Royce (Sandra) Cain of Dawsonville, Donald "DC" (Lu) Cain of Kingsland; daughter, Sharon (Mike) Jimison of Sherrills Ford, N.C.; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and other loving relatives also survive.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 29, 4 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with the Rev. Gerald Blackburn, the Rev. Jeff Wilkie and the Rev. Dennis Bottoms officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens in Cumming. The family will receive friends Saturday, April 28, from 5-9 p.m., and Sunday, April 29, from 1 p.m. until the hour of service.
Pallbearers will be Stacey Cain, Lynn Cain, Jason Cain, Mickey Cain, Rickey Cain and Cody Cain.
