J.C. "Red" Munda, age 86, of Cumming passed away Thursday, Feb. 19, 2015.
He loved hunting, fishing and was an avid fan of NASCAR. He served honorably in the United States Army during the Korean War. J.C. is preceded in death by his wife, Christine Hubbard Munda; and their son, Luther Munda.
Red is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Janet Munda; daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Lloyd Wooddell; grandchildren, Toby Lawhorn, Bradley Munda, Stephanie and (Jeremy) Nichols; great-grandchildren, Casey and Emma Lawhorn, Lucas Watson, Ada and Bonnie Nichols; sisters, Barbara Hubbard, Betty Perkins; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Jimmie and Michael Hughes, Len G. Hubbard, Ralph Cloud, Talmadge Bolton; numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.
Services were held Saturday, Feb. 21, at 1 p.m. in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tim Hubbard, the Rev. Larry Gilbert, and the Rev. Danny Bennett officiating. Interment followed in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.
