Jerry Cecil Castleberry, age 68, passed away Sunday, Dec.28, 2014. He lived near Cleveland, but was a native of Forsyth County. Jerry was the son of Cecil and Mayrell Emmett Castleberry. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Douglas, Charlie and Bud Castleberry.
Jerry is survived by a sister, Jane (Charles) Dollyhigh; nephews, Ricky and Gary Castleberry and Luke Wood; nieces, Carole McClesky, Cheryl McDonald, Janet Reece, Rita Garner, Ronda Benson and Robin Stone.
He was a builder and also raised cattle. Jerry was a loving and supportive son, brother, uncle and friend and will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 3, at 2 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Henry Wade and the Rev Tommy Estes officiating. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery (Mars Hill) near Cumming.
The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home Friday from 6-9 p.m. and Saturday from noon until the hour of service.
Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
