Jon Griffin Adams passed away April 7, 2012. As a registered land surveyor, Jon was a hard worker who cared for his family and his employees. He was an Eagle Scout and was involved in coaching baseball, soccer and basketball, not only for his own children but also for many more throughout the Forsyth County area.
He was a good provider and took care of his family in a Christian home full of love. Jon loved his red 1967 F100 pickup truck, he loved watching his kids play ball and seeing them grow up, and he loved taking care of everyone around him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Theresa Adams of Cumming; son, Kelly Robert Adams of Atlanta; daughter, Emily Marie Adams of Cumming; mother-in-law, Margie E. Royal of Dallas; brother-in-law, Jim (Heidi) Royal of Dallas; nieces and nephews, Stephen, Nikki, Fletcher, Cole, and Madeline Royal.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 12, at 5 p.m. at the McDonald and Son Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dennis Bottoms officiating. Visitation is Wednesday, April 11, from 4-8 p.m. and Thursday, April 12, from 3-5 p.m. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.
