Julia Ann Cardosa Fitzpatrick, 77, of Cumming passed away on Dec. 9, 2009, at her home. Born in Centralia, Penn., she was the daughter of the late Henry and Anna Cardosa. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, she will be missed by her family. Mrs. Fitzpatrick was an active member of St. Brendan Catholic Church.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 49 years, Hugh F. Fitzpatrick of Cumming; daughters, Kathleen (Richard) Schuler, Anne Marie (Mike) Long of Cumming; sons, Sean (Michelle) Fitzpatrick of St. Petersburg, Fla., Hugh (Mary) Fitzpatrick of Boynton Beach, Fla.; sisters, Mary Leddicote of Delaware, Toni (Dick) Buegler of New York, Katy Appl of Pennsylvania; brothers, Pete and Mike Cardosa of Maryland, Henry Cardosa of North Carolina; and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 16, at St. Brendan Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, Dec. 15, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations by made to St. Brendan Catholic Church, 4633 Shiloh Road, Cumming, GA 30040.
