June McDonald, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2012, after a battle with dementia. June was born and raised in Cumming and worked at Sears a number of years, Old DeKalb Press and Publix for 10 years.
June is survived by her husband of 52 years, George McDonald; sons, Joseph, Anthony and daughter-in-law Dianna McDonald; four grandchildren, Nicholas, Jacob, Davin and Kailey; two sisters, Ruth and her husband David Webster, Rose and her husband Charles Colstan; brother, Charles and his wife Carol Dooley.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Sept. 1, at 1 p.m. at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Mark Magwood officiating. Interment will follow in Salem Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home Thursday, Aug. 30, from 5-8 p.m., Friday, Aug. 31, from noon to 4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 1, from 11 a.m. until hour of service.
