Lance Browder, 51, of Dawsonville passed away Sunday, Nov. 9, 2008, at Northside Hospital Forsyth following a short illness.
A native of Fulton County, he had lived in Dawson County for the past year having moved from Forsyth County. Mr. Browder was employed as a land surveyor and enjoyed spending time working in his yard. He was an avid football fan and was known for his loving spirit and kind soul.
Survivors include his children, Lacy Leigh Browder of Danville, Va., Kipp Browder of Danville, Va.; mother, Sandra Bryan of Dawsonville; sisters and brother-in-law, Pam Elledge of Dawsonville, Allyson and Clint Decker of Dawsonville; brothers and sister-in-law, Allan and Joanie Browder of Dawsonville, Steven Browder of Covington, Tenn., Sean Browder of Tennessee; companion, Sara Strickland of Dawsonville; nieces and nephews, Justin and Brandy Browder, Savannah Browder, Dustin Ingram, Slayter Haney, Valen Decker, Ansley Browder.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, Nov. 13, at 4 p.m. at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bryan Lake officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, Nov. 12, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
