Louanne Jones Woliver of Roswell passed away May 30, 2013. She was the daughter of Fred and Sammie Jones of West Point.
Louanne was a loving and dedicated mother to her son Chris, who she absolutely adored, and a loving, caring and devoted wife. Louanne had many talents and hobbies that she excelled in. She was a wonderful gourmet cook and loved to spend time gardening, reading, knitting and traveling.
Louanne traveled around the world and never met a stranger she could not talk to. She wrote songs and poetry, was very creative and inventive, and her laughter and humor will be missed. Her friendships she shared formed a bond that will endure forever.
Louanne was a romantic and enjoyed spending quiet times with her husband or her family at their lake house at West Point Lake. Those she touched realized how truly special a person she was.
Louanne had many, many friends at the Roswell Presbyterian Church and in the Roswell community.
Louanne graduated from Western Michigan University with cum laude honors and worked summers in high school and college at Captain Anderson's in Panama City Beach, Fla., and fell in love with the beach.
Louanne was a spiritual person with great interest and study of Christian and other spiritual literature.
She is survived by her parents; husband, Walter H. Woliver of Roswell; son, Christopher H. Woliver of Auburn, Ala.; and brother, F. Lamar Jones of Atlanta.
A memorial service will be held June 8 at 10 a.m. at Roswell Presbyterian Church.
