He just started a career at ISS Facilities Services, Inc. as a general maintenance technician entering an apprenticeship for data center facility maintenance.
MacKean loved God, family, friends and music. He played the French horn and marched in the Forsyth Central "Flash of Crimson" for three years playing the mellophone. He was a very special force of nature, kind-hearted, loving and always willing to help anyone with a project, he had a brilliant mind and was also mechanically inclined. He is more loved than he ever knew and will be missed more than he ever could have imagined.
The family will receive visitors Friday, July 21, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Funeral service will be Saturday, July 22, at 1 p.m. in the Cumming First United Methodist Church. Immediately after the service, he will be laid to rest at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.
