Madge Paulk Griffin was born July 3, 1921, in Ocilla, and passed away Sept. 8, 2012. Madge moved to Knoxville, Tenn., in 2002. She was a graduate of Waynesboro High School and attended Georgia College for Women at Milledgeville. She retired from Medical Center of Central Georgia where she worked 15 years as an LPN in Newborn Nursery.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Reason and Reesie Paulk; husband, David J. Griffin Jr.; and granddaughter, Caroline C. Benson.
She is survived by her daughter, Elaine Benson; and grandchildren, Graham, Austin, and Eden Benson.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, Sept. 13, at 1:30 p.m. at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
