Marilyn Ruth Staebell, loving mother and wife, age 79, of Cumming passed away Saturday, Jan. 21, 2012. She was born Aug. 22, 1932. She was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Marilyn loved sewing, quilting and golfing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Genevieve Jahn; and her brother, Daniel Jahn.
She is survived by her husband, Dick Staebell; daughter, Patti Staebell of Cumming; daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Jim Thompson of Gainesville, Nancy and Gary Lewis of North Carolina; sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Wanda Staebell of Lilburn, Bill and Marie Staebell of Florida, David and Sheila Staebell of Monroe; 12 grandchildren, Joey Staebell, Chelsea and Lauren Thompson, Jenna, Jason and Jordan Lewis, Matthew and Megan Staebell, Dae, Yung, Aaron and Beau Staebell; and other loving relatives also survive.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 27, at 10:30 a.m. at Good Shepherd Catholic Church with Father Frank Richardson officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Vincent DePaul Society at Good Shepherd Catholic Church.
