Marvin Ray Phillips, age 82, of Cumming passed away Jan. 4, 2014. Mr. Phillips was an inspector with Rock Ten, and a menís locker room attendant at the Atlanta Athletic Club.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Phillips.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Kenneth Dowdy; brother, Grady Phillips; grandchildren, Mary Fowler and Jason Dowdy; and great-grandchild, Lily Fowler.
Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 8, at 2 p.m. at the McDonald and Son Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Old Roswell City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, Jan. 6, from 4-7 p.m. and Tuesday, Jan. 7, from noon to 6 p.m.
