Mrs. Mary Daniel "Granny" Harrod, 84, of Gainesville passed away Dec. 8, 2008, following complications from illness.
Mrs. Harrod was born March 14, 1924, in Tallapoosa, to Roxy Irene and James Forney Daniel. She lived most of her life in Atlanta, until moving to Forsyth County after the passing of her beloved husband of 18 years, Al Harrod Jr.

Fairchild of West Palm Beach, Fla.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.
