Marybelle Maxwell Richards, 71, of Alpharetta passed away Jan. 1, 2010. Born in Dallas, she was predeceased by her granddaughter, Haley Scarce, in 1989. Mrs. Richards loved crafts, all things Elvis, and finding hidden treasures at yard sales. She was a member of the Crossroads Baptist Church in Paulding County.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Raymond Richards of Alpharetta; daughter, Donna (Dave) Wallace of Woodbridge, Va.; daughter, Denise Richards Scarce of Alpharetta; and grandson, Stephen Wallace of Manassas, Va.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 4, at 11 a.m. at McDonald and Son Funeral Home in Cumming with the Rev. Bobby Padgett and the Rev. Dan Henderson officiating. Interment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Roswell. Visitation will be at the funeral home Monday, Jan. 3, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m.
