Noah W. Stapler, age 86, of Cumming, originally of Ocee Community, went home to be with our Lord and Savior, June 2, 2016 at 4:45 pm, at home, surrounded by family. Noah loved gardening, trout fishing and bird-watching in his spare time. He was a true outdoorsman. Noah served with the Army by training Rangers in Dahlonega during the Korean War along with a Guerilla Warfare Trainer and was in the reserve for six years after.
Noah is survived by his wife, Margaret Stapler; his daughters, Cheryl Millholland, Teresa Shook, Sherry Myrick, Lori Stapler; sons-in-law, Raymond Shook, Ronnie Millholland; grandchildren, Stan Lee, John Luck, Bret Myrick; as well as great-grandchild, Noah Lee.
Noah is preceded in death by Thomas Stapler and Ara Stapler.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 5, at noon, in Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Stan Lee and Jackie Payne officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 3-9 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. until hour of service.
