Norman Cale, 78, of Sharpsburg passed away Sept. 14, 2011. Norman was a graduate of the University of Alabama and served in the United States Marine Corps. An Eastern Airline captain and avid golfer, Norman had a great life and was well-loved by all who met him. He was preceded in death by his son, Kent Cale.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Herndon Cale; daughters, Karen Turner and Kelly Cale; son, Kip Cale; stepson, Todd Hale; stepdaughters, Shannon Johnson, Branndan Vanegmond and grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Sept. 17, at 4 p.m. at Peachtree City Seventh Day Adventist Family Life Center in Sharpsburg.
