Norris Wilson Anglin, age 63, of Cumming passed away Thursday, July 10, 2008, following an extended illness. He served in the U.S. Marines and retired from General Motors with 35 years of service. Mr. Anglin was preceded in death by his mother, Hazel Bradford Anglin.
Survivors include his wife, Nina Ledbetter Anglin of Cumming; father, Leonard Anglin of Duluth; children, Angie and Allen West of Loganville, Eddy and Philicia Anglin and Wilson Norris Anglin of Cumming; grandchildren, Alex and Dylan West of Loganville; brother and sister-in-law, Nelson and Kathy Anglin of Suches; sister and brother-in-law, Glenda and Bill Crissy of Suwanee; mother and father-in-law, Atwood and Lynda Ledbetter; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bert and Wendi Ledbetter; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Dana and Mark Watkins; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services were held Saturday, July 12, at 1 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Johnny Purcell, Rev. Larry Webb, Rev. Harold Bottoms and Rev. Tommy Estes officiating. Interment followed at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will received friends Friday, July 11, from noon to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
