In loving memory of Ona R. Hall, born April 28, 1933, in Meigs County, Tenn., passed away March 8, 2015. Resident of Cherokee County, at time of death.
Ona was a retired public school teacher having been active in Walker County and Cobb County.
She is survived by husband, Andrew Hall. They would have been married 56 years in June.
Other survivors are daughter, Faye Shaun McCampbell and husband Mark; son, Byron R. Hall and wife Laura and three children; granddaughter, Amber Wilbur and husband Keith and two children Matthew and Jacob; grandson, Adrian McCampbell and wife Chrissy and their two children Shelby and Ethan.
Ona was preceded in death by both parents, A.F. Russell and wife Garnett; one sister, Margaret Bivens; two brothers-in-law, Raymond Bivens (Margaret), and Herman Woody.
The only surviving sister, Mary Lee Woody (Herman); several nephews and niece of Tennessee.
Ona loved her school teaching experience and was active at her vocation well over 30 years, being elected teacher of the year in Blackwell of Cobb County one year. She loved children and was a very outgoing person.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 11, at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church Cumming. Interment will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park in Canton.
In lieu of flowers, the family will appreciate a gift to the Building Fund of First Baptist Church Cumming at 1597 Sawnee Drive, Cumming, GA 30040.
