Peggy Gattis Kuehn, age 78, of Cumming, passed away Saturday, May 30, 2015.
Born in Nov. 1936 at Paris, Ark., she was the daughter of Clark and Jewel Gattis. Peggy attended school in Paris and graduated from Paris High School in 1955. She married Vernon Kuehn of Ratcliff, Ark., in October 1955. They were married for 59 years. Peggy and Vernon were active in a church in every community that they lived in which included eight states. At the time of death Peggy Kuehn was a member of the Alpharetta Presbyterian Church.

She was known for experimenting with all forms of cooking and baking, never shying away from a new, interesting recipe. She used her sewing knowledge to make her daughters' wedding dresses as well as designing and making elaborate window treatments for her home and others. Her eye for color and composition guided everything she did. For 16 years, Peggy worked as a Payroll Technician at Boehringer-Mannheim in Indianapolis.
