Ranga Nathan, age 68, of Cumming passed away Sunday, March 13, 2016.
Born in Mumbai, Mr. Nathan grew up in Chennai, India. He attended the Indian Institute of Technology, and the Indian Institute of Management in Calcutta. Following his education, he lived in Germany for three and a half years.
While in Naperville, Ill., he started his business, InvestMatrix Inc., and was a member of the CFA Institute.
He is survived by his loving wife, Pushpa Nathan of Cumming; mother, Padma Rajan of Silver Spring, Md.; children, Meera Raji Nathan of Atlanta, Hari Sarang Nathan of New York, N.Y.; brothers, C.S. Parthasarathy of Boston, Mass., Vijay Rajan of Silver Spring, Md.; sister, Malini Srinivasan of Tiruchy, India; along with many other loving friends and relatives.
Funeral services for Mr. Nathan will be held Thursday, March 17, at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Thursday, March 17, from 2:30 p.m. until the hour of service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Atlanta Community Food Bank at Atlanta Community Bank. 732 Joseph E. Lowery Blvd., NW, Atlanta, GA 30318.
