Robert H. Tate, 72, of Reynolds passed away Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2010, at his residence. He was of the Baptist faith and was born in Cumming, where he lived for 65 years before moving to Reynolds seven years ago. Mr. Tate was employed with L.B. Foster Co. in Norcross for 43 years.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Montgomery Tate of Reynolds; one stepdaughter, Traci London of Reynolds; two sisters-in-law, Margie Tate of Cumming, Sue Taylor of Douglasville; one brother-in-law, David Montgomery (Ellora) of McCormick, S.C.; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Mr. Tate will be held Friday, Sept. 10, at 2 p.m. at Goddard-McLeighton Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crowell United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, Sept. 9, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
