Roy Brice Caine Sr., age 91, of Cumming passed away Thursday, June 2, 2016.
He was a member of Silver Shoals Baptist Church. Roy was a Navy Veteran of World War II where he served on the USS Randolph located in the Pacific Corridor. He served as a deacon at Silver Shoals Baptist Church for many years. Roy was the past master of the Masonic Lodge and a member of Matt Lodge #694 F&AM.
He is preceded in death by his wife Kathleen Caine; his grandson, Benjamin Brice Caine.
Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Brice and Gloria Caine of Demorest, Ricky and Joyce Caine of Dawsonville; daughter, Mitzi Caine of Cumming; brothers and sister-in-law, William "Bill" and Janet Lingerfelt of Dahlonega, Buck Lingerfelt; sisters, Cora Lee Martin, Ovie Elzey all of Cumming; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Sunday, June 5, at 3 p.m., in Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Greg Rawlins, Tim Biddy, Harold Bottoms and Vince Caine officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1-4 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. until hour of service.
