Rubydean Holtzclaw, age 85, of Cumming passed away Friday, Dec. 30, 2011. Rubydean was a lifelong resident of Forsyth County and a member of Coal Mountain Baptist Church where she belonged to the WMU. She was preceded in death by her husband, Egbert Holtzclaw; son, Troy Dean Holtzclaw; and great-grandson, Abram Joshua Ayers.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Loyd and Deborah Holtzclaw of Cumming, Kenneth and Shyrl Holtzclaw of Cumming, Ricky and Debbie Holtzclaw of Dawsonville; grandchildren, Wesley Holtzclaw, Lanny Holtzclaw, Rhonda Holtzclaw Clark, Christopher Holtzclaw, Kimberly Holtzclaw Evans, Todd Holtzclaw, Michele Gunter, Dori Ayers; 16 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, Jan. 1, at 2 p.m. in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Stephen Davis, Dr. Randy Smith and the Rev. Christopher Holtzclaw officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday, Dec. 31, from 5-9 p.m. and Sunday, Jan. 1, from 9 a.m. until the hour of service.
