Ruth Little Mooney, 74, peacefully passed into eternal life following a period of declining health on June 21, 2017.
She was born on November 28, 1942 to the late Benson and Alice Little of Oakwood. She was employed for many years at Habasit Belting in Atlanta and Belt Corporation of America in Cumming. She enjoyed working with her many customers across the United States who became her extended family through the years.
Ruth was preceded in death by her sister, Vivian Mooney, brother, Benny Little and grandson, Zachery Blalock. She is survived by her daughter, Melanie Blalock and William Stahl of Toccoa, and her son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Angie Mooney of Cumming, brother, James Winfred and Linda Little of Gainesville, sister, Linda and George Stanton of Marietta, and brother, Andy and Christy Little of Eatonton. She is also survived by her grandchildren whom she was so very proud of, Tyler Blalock, Seth Blalock, Adam Blalock, Ben Blalock, Ashley Mooney and Jake Mooney.
She will also be missed by the loving staff and wonderful caregivers at The Villas of Canterfield and Golden Rule Hospice.
The family received friends on June 23, 2017, at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel.
A celebration of Ruth's life was held on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel, officiated by Brother James Winfred Little.
Interment will be at a later date.
