Ryan McSwain Browning, 22, of Dawsonville passed away Aug. 18, 2011. Born in Johnson City, Tenn., he was the son of Greg and Sandy Browning of Dawsonville. Ryan was a 2007 graduate of North Forsyth High School where he lettered in football and track and was a three-year state qualifier in the hurdles. He attended Georgia Southern University and worked at Red Robin.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Baldomero and Emma Garza.
In addition to his parents, Ryan is survived by his brother, Tyler Browning of Dawsonville; and his grandparents, Howard and Harriet Browning of Elizabethton, Tenn.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Aug. 22, at 2 p.m. at Browns Bridge Community Church. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Forsyth County Humane Society.
