Sadra J. Mettee of Cumming, passed away surrounded by friends and family on June 4, 2018. She was preceded in death by her loving husband; David L. Humple and son; Christopher Franklin.
She is survived by her son; Bradly Franklin (Lori Anne), daughters; Becky Franklin Haas (Rob), Kathy Dill (Scott Lacy). Grandchildren; Josh Dill (Fawn), Erin Weisgerber (Michael), Julie Anne Franklin, Elliott Franklin, David Franklin, Cole Davis; and her loving brother Ray Brumbeloe (Barbara); several great-grandchildren; and her trusty canine sidekick, Magnum.
Sadra was born in Lagrange, GA in February 1941. She lived in Baltimore Maryland, where she met her soul mate, David. Together they moved back to her southern roots in Georgia. A doting grandmother, her life was full when she was with her family and friends. There is not enough paper to list all the people that loved Sadra and who she loved in return.
Visitation will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 9 at McDonald & Sons Funeral home with a reception following at noon. Contributions in loving memory may be made to the Forsyth County Humane Society at Forsythpets.org.
