Stanley Darwin Fenner, 48, of Cumming passed away Sept. 20, 2012, at Northside Hospital-Forsyth. Born in Houston, Texas, Nov. 8, 1963, he was the son of Carol Stanley Fenner of Maitland, Fla., and James H. (Elsebeth) Fenner of New Orleans, La.
Stan attended Mercer University where he was a member of SAE Fraternity. He had an appreciation of wine and the communal enjoyment of sharing wine with friends and family. Stan was a loving father, brother and son.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Gail Fenner of Cumming; children, Alie, Kyle, Hammond, Sanders, Trenten and Brackton Fenner of Cumming; sisters, Cat Munro Fenner of Nashville, Tenn., Dorsey Hardie Fenner of Asheville, N.C.; and many nieces and nephews also survive.
Memorial services will be held Friday, Sept. 21, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of McDonald and Son Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at www.choa.org or to Northside Hospital-Forsyth.
