Stella Betty Longenetta, 85, of Cumming, and a longtime resident of Alliance, Ohio, passed away Jan. 5, 2011, at Northside Hospital Forsyth. Born in Salem, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late John and Eva Pascola.
Stella worked as a potter at Royal China for many years. She was an member of Longstreet Baptist Church and volunteered at The Place, both in Cumming.
She is survived by her loving companion, Joseph Kurpil of Cumming; daughter, Patricia Blake of Cumming; grandsons, Jerry (Sherrie) Blake of Dawsonville, Melvin (Robyn) Blake of Alliance, Ohio; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 7, at 6 p.m. in the chapel of McDonald and Son with the Rev. Pete Martin and the Rev. Terry Caylor officiating. The family will receive friends Friday, Jan. 7, from 4-6 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Longstreet Baptist Church or The Place.
