Thomas Oliver Cannon, 78, of Cumming passed away at his home on Nov. 2, 2008. The son of the late William and Dolly Cannon, he was a native of Virginia.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Harvey and Franklin Cannon; and sister, Lola Pittman.
A member of First Baptist Church in Cumming, Mr. Cannon served in the Korean War in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his sisters, Rebecca C. Parrish of Buford, Dorothy Spears of Summerfield, N.C., Judy Brackett of Greensboro, N.C.; several nieces and nephews; one great-niece.
Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 12, at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton.
