Trenton David Basden, age 18, of Gainesville passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2016. Born in Arlington, Texas, he was the son of Stephen and Christine Basden of Redmond, Wash.
Trenton was a senior at North Forsyth High School and was planning to attend the University of North Georgia in the fall.
In addition to his parents, Trenton is survived by his brother, Ryan Basden of Kennesaw; his grandparents, Penny Brewer of Sequim, Wash., Beverly and Frank Belgau of Port Angeles, Wash., Molly and Joe Rombach of Mill Creek, Wash., Carol Basden of Katy, Texas; and many aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him. Also, his family in Georgia for the past year, Chad and Chandra Childress and their family and a multitude of friends that loved him deeply.
Trenton loved life and pursued experiences. He had a gift to be present in the moment and savored not only the moments when he got to do new things, but the time he got to spend with people in those moments. He loved well and was well loved in return.
Trenton loved people as an outgrowth of his relationship with Jesus. That relationship is fully realized now as Trenton is in His presence.

The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, May 14, at the funeral home.
