Vivian Hargrave Joyner, 89, of Cumming passed away Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011. Vivian, the daughter of George and Golden Sisk Hargrave, was born in Harrisburg, Ill., and lived in Chicago for 38 years before retiring to Eldorado, Ill. She was a member of Eastern Star, serving many positions including Grand Adah and Grand Lecturer in Illinois. She will be truly missed and always remembered with love.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Howard Joyner of Cumming; daughter, Janet Williamson of Cumming; son, Gary Joyner of Huntley, Ill.; grandchildren, Scott Williamson of Atlanta, Kelly and Brian Gayton of Cumming; great-grandchildren, Chase and Shay Gayton.
A memorial service will be held Friday, Dec. 23, at 2 p.m. at the Georgia National Cemetery of Canton.
