Wayne Zerishnek, 66, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2012, in Cumming. Mr. Zerishnek was born May 18, 1945, in Pittsburgh, Pa., the son of George and Sophie (Skarupa) Zerishnek. Wayne served in the United States Coast Guard. Mr. Zerishnek retired from a long career with ESB Bank in Ellwood City, Pa. Mr. Zerishnek loved landscaping, Pittsburgh sports and spending time with his granddaughter.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy (Scholz) of Cumming; son, Wayne "JR" Zerishnek of Dawsonville; daughter, Heidi (David) Calabrese of Dawsonville; granddaughter, Mia Calabrese; favorite dog, Holly; sister, Georgene (Eugene) Ritter of Macon; and brother, Keith (Patty) Zerishnek of Corraopolis, Pa.
A memorial service will be held Friday, March 2, at 2:30 p.m. at the McDonald and Son Chapel. The family will receive friends Friday from 1:30 p.m. until service time.
