Wilburn Collier, 82, of Cumming passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at Embracing Hospice in Cumming. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and a member of the Cumming VFW. He was a member of Grace Chapel Church of Christ in Cumming. Wilburn loved to farm, fish and play golf. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his lovely wife of 63 years, Mildred Collier of Cumming; children, Gary and Nancy Collier of Dawsonville, Sheree and Wayne Garrison of Jefferson, Christy and Jeff Martin of Dawsonville; sister, Joann Poe of Jasper, Ala.; grandchildren, Jesse, Elizabeth, Lauren, Kendal; great-grandchildren, Cole, Sydney and Jake; and numerous other relatives also survive.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
