William "Bill" Stewart, age 68, of Cumming passed away Aug. 4 2014. In 1966, Bill joined the United States Army where he served until 1968. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Georgia State University in 1974. After receiving his degree, Bill joined the Federal Bureau of Investigation. 
During his 20-plus years of service as a Special Agent, Bill served in roles in the International and Domestic Terrorism, Foreign Counter Intelligence and he assisted in establishing the Joint terrorism task for the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. He retired from the FBI in 2001. 
He enjoyed fishing, cooking and dock diving with his dog, Bailey. 
He is survived by his wife, Linda; sisters, Marlene Roberts and Linda Fisher; brother, Everett; daughters, Jessica Curl, Jennifer and Jacque and son Zachary; four grandchildren, Brady, Mary, Chason and Morgan.
A visitation shall be held Friday, Aug. 8, from 5-7 p.m. at McDonald and Son Funeral Home. A memorial service shall be held Saturday, Aug. 9, at Good Shepard Catholic Church in Cumming.
