William Clarence Cooper Sr., 63, of Cumming passed away Friday, Sept. 13, 2013, peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving wife and family. He was born Sept. 25, 1949, in Brunswick, to the late Johnnie C. Cooper and Marie Williams Cooper.

Mr. Cooper was still employed by State Farm Insurance Company as a technical analyst, where he recently celebrated his 44th anniversary with them on May 26, 2013. Mr. Cooper was a member of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church of Roswell, where he served as a deacon.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Cooper was preceded in death by his brothers, Johnnie Jr. (Ida Mae), Robby and Robert, all of Brunswick.
He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Loupé-Cooper, his companion for 17 years; sons, William Jr. (Elveta), Royce (Shelita), Christopher and Dillon; brothers, Marion (Annie) and Thomas (Debra); mother-in-law, Brenda; brothers-in-law, Craig and Jamele; sister-in-law, Danielle; granddaughters, Kennedi, Matee and Addison; grandson, Christian; and a host of nieces and nephews also survive.
The family will receive visitors at McDonald and Son Funeral Home Thursday, Sept. 19, from 5-8 p.m. Celebration of Life services will be held Friday, Sept. 20, at 11 a.m. at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Roswell, with the Rev. Sabin P. Strickland officiating. Interment will follow on Saturday, Sept. 21, at 11 a.m. at Ceylon Cemetery in Darien.
