While surrounded by family, Cynthia A. Neuhart of Duluth, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014. She is survived by her daughter, MacKenzie M. Neuhart; husband, Paul E. Neuhart; mother, Dorothy P. Earle; sister, Melanie J. Earle; stepson, Phillip E. Neuhart and wife Kathryn; and brother-in-law, Larry E. Neuhart.
Cindy was born on July 25, 1963 in Melbourne, Fla. to the late Claude E. Earle and Dorothy P. Earle. The family relocated to Salisbury, N.C. in 1973, where she graduated from East Rowan Senior High School in 1982. She subsequently attended Pfeiffer University and Catawba College. In her early career, she was a member of Elizabeth Dole's staff in Washington, DC. In the year 2000, Cindy and Paul were married and started their life together in Hickory, N.C. She and Paul relocated to Atlanta in 2002 where they have made their home for the past twelve years.
With the birth of her daughter, MacKenzie in 2004, Cindy lived completely for MacKenzie's wellbeing and future. The world was a better place with Cindy in it. She was a loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend. Her strength and courage were biblically driven, and her determination was resolute.
Cindy's time with us was shortened by cancer, but her life will endure through eternity.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Feb. 23 at 5 p.m. at McDonald and Son Funeral Home in Cumming. Visitation will precede services at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Glenn Family Breast Center at Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University, 1762 Clifton Rd.
