Marilyn F. Chester, age 90, of Cumming passed away Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2014. Marilyn was a life-long Episcopalian who had a deep faith in her Lord and Savior. She was a member of the Daughters of the King for more than 30 years. She enjoyed reading, sewing and needlework.

She is survived by her children, Thomas J. and Katherine Chester of Utica, N.Y., Jennifer and William Kelley of Bethune, S.C., Trude C. and Ferrell Brown of Cumming; grandchildren, Joshua Ricketson of Macon, Elizabeth Ricketson of Roswell, Evelyn Chester of Silver Spring, Md.; several great-grandchildren; and the staff of Sonshine Manor in Jasper, who have been part of her extended family for the last four years.
Memorial services will be held Sunday, March 9, at 2 p.m. at the Episcopal Church of The Holy Family with Dea. Katherine Armentrout officiating.
