Robert Moss Youngblood, age 90, of Cumming passed away Saturday, March 8, 2014. He was a deacon at Shady Grove Baptist Church for 64 years. Loved his church where he was a Sunday school teacher and song leader. Robert loved gospel music. He served his country in the United States Navy and was a veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lois Morgan Youngblood; parents, Herschel Clifton and Velvie Lelah Cagle Youngblood; and brother, Ralph Youngblood.

He is survived by his children, June and Truel Martin, Joyce and Loyd Shadburn, Jimmy and Delilah Youngblood, all of Cumming; brother, Rev. Herbert Youngblood of Cumming; sister, Corene Thornton of Canton; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held Monday, March 10, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home, with the Revs. Ruel Martin, Robert Martin, Paul Bagley and Allen Swafford officiating. Interment followed at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.
