Nora Christine DeLong Hemrick, age 100, of Cumming passed away March 30, 2014. She was a homemaker, loved cooking and working with her flowers, loved children and cared for many. Nora was preceded in death by her husband, Reginald Hemrick; son, James Ted Hemrick; grandson, Jeromy Hemrick.

She is survived by her children, Barbara Whitmire of Cumming, Alvin and Grace Hemrick of Dawsonville, Elizabeth and Benny Boling of Cumming, Linda and Andy Clemons of Dawsonville, Wendol and Sue Hemrick of Cumming; 15 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service for Mrs. Hemrick will be held Wednesday, April 2, at 11 a.m. at Brookwood Baptist Church, with the Rev. Chris Grinstead officiating. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be at Ingram Funeral Home Tuesday, April 1, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4-9 p.m. and Wednesday, April 2, from 9 a.m. until the hour of service.
