Jeffrey Bowman, age 57, of Cumming passed away Saturday, Aug. 16, 2014. Born Jan. 23, 1957, in Asheville, N.C., Jeffrey had lived in Cumming since 2008, moving here from Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., where he had been employed by American Express for more than 15 years. Very passionate about people, Jeffrey was a loving son, brother and uncle. He was preceded in death by his mother, Christine F. Bowman.

He is survived by his father, John Bowman; brother, John L. Bowman Jr., both of Cumming; companion of more than 30 years, David McIntyre of Cumming; niece, Serena C. Bowman of Daytona Beach, Fla.; nephew, Steven Bowman of Clermont, Fla.; great-niece and nephew, Emily Sherman and Zachary Sherman, both of Daytona Beach, Fla.
A Requiem Mass will be held Wednesday, Aug. 20, at 11 a.m. at St. Columba's Episcopal Church in Suwanee, with the Rev. Fr. Tripp Norris as Celebrant.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Columba's Episcopal Church.
