Beverly Malcolm Gunter, age 75, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away at her home on Thursday, Aug. 28, 2014. Beverly was born in Atlanta, on Dec. 6, 1938, the daughter of William ìBillî and Gertrude (Johns) Malcolm. She graduated third in her class form Southwest High School in Atlanta on May 29, 1957. Beverly married Ronald D. Gunter Sr. of Atlanta on June 1, 1957. They were married for 32 years, and he survives. She was a member of New Hope Community Church in Bryan, Ohio, where she was actively involved in Precepts Womenís Bible Study and Primetime. She enjoyed traveling, spending time with her family and friends and working crossword puzzles.

Survivors include her two sons, Denny (Sheila) Gunter of Bryan, Ohio, and David (Kim) Gunter of Cumming; four grandchildren, Kristin (Jake) Long, and Kelly (Lance) Theobald, both of Charlotte, N.C., Hannah and Parks Gunter of Cumming, and one great-granddaughter, Lucy Rose Long of Charlotte, N.C. Additional survivors include one brother, Ray (Diane) Malcolm of Thomaston; two sisters, Gloria (Hugh) OíNeal of Decatur, Sandra (Jim) Harman of Hartwell; 12 nieces and nephews, 25 great-nieces and great-nephews; and four great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one younger sister, Debbie Wirth.
Visitation for Beverly will be held Tuesday, Sept. 2, from 1-2 p.m. in the Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory, where funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Randy Rhye officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee Memorial Gardens.
