Barbara Louise Davis, 80, longtime area resident, died Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center in Brush. Barbara was born September 28, 1933 in Rogers, AR to William & Nora (Cooper) Spencer. She married Raymond "Merle" Davis in 1954, with whom she had six children. After his death she married Ralph "Emory" Davis in 1965. Barbara attended Brush Church of The Nazarene. In past years she was active in the Brush Rodeo Association, having served as president. She was also a member of the V.F.W
. Auxiliary in Brush, Rebekah Lodge, Royal Neighbors, and Republican Women. She enjoyed reading, singing, and gardening, especially her roses. Barbara was most fond of her beloved dog, Misty. Survivors include her children, Rick Davis and his wife, Sandy of Brush, Donna Bass and her husband, Ernie of Snyder, David Davis and his wife, Debra of Wiggins, and Susan Goss and her husband, Jim of Hoyt. She is also survived by her brother, Rudy Spencer and his wife, Shelly of Tujunga, CA, 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandson. Barbara was preceded in death by her first husband, Merle Davis; her second husband, Emory Davis; her daughter, Barbara Jean Davis; her son, Ronald Davis; and her siblings, Glenna, Clyde, Jimmy, Billy, Bobby, Sue, Donald, Phyllis, Ronnie, Radie, and Kenneth. A funeral service will be at the Brush Church of The Nazarene on Tuesday, April 15th at 10:30 AM, followed by a luncheon. Graveside services and Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery in Fort Morgan on Tuesday at 1:00 PM.
